460 question

what is the differts between a460 and a 44mag. in recoil level 8)

I think the 460 has less felt recoil. I had both a 460 S&W Mag and a Ruger Super Redhawk and a S&W model 629 in 44 Mag. The weight and compensator on the S&W 460 Mag reduce's the recoil very well and in my opinion, the 44 Mag has more felt recoil.
I have a 5 inch S&W 460 Mag and have a end cap installed which makes the gun have no compensator and I still feel it has less felt recoil than the 44 Mag in either of the guns I listed above.

I figured that the 44 Mag shooting a 240 gr bullet at 1400 fps has 15ft lbs of recoil. I couldn't figure the 460
don't have the load info.

Bullet weight and fps don't mean much. The added weight of the 460 Mag is the big difference.
