Next year a club

The first revolver I took a deer with was a 357 Mag.  The deer was about 35 yards away.

I wanted something bigger so I bought a 44 Mag.  The deer I took with it was about 25 yards away.

I wanted something bigger so I bought a BFR 45/70.  The deer I took with it was about 20 yards away.

I wanted something more accurate so I bought the S&W 460 Mag.  The deer I took this year were 10 yards away and the next was 5 yards away. 

I've lost my excuse for buying new guns.  If the pattern holds I’ll only need a sword or a club next year to keep from being run over.

I might suggest a 48" laminated, stainless steel, scent free butterfly net. Or a derringer ....

reallybigfoot, sounds like you've had exceptional luck with your deer hunting. Congratulations and the deer keep coming closer. You must be doing something right? Keep it up.
