texas hog hunt
« on: March 11, 2004, 04:31:08 PM »
I went hog hunting with South Texas Outfitters. Although we didn't see many hogs (possibly due to cold/rainy weather while we were there) , I  was willing to give them another try, until they raised thier price $150 :( .

The weather should not have mattered all that much. We harvest alot of hogs with weather like that. Also $150 is about adverage for hog hunts with rifle or bow around here now. Dog and knife hunts run more however. BTW where in south Texas are they? As I live in south Texas and have never heard of them.

sj,  This hunt was a few years back. The owner is Klint graff, But last I heard Pete Ray ran the hog hunts for them. they are out of Pearsall. I hunted with jody Starr out of Fowlerton, last year and was so hapy that we'll be going back in a month ;D

Glad to hear you had a good time. The reason I know the prices is because we used to guide rifle and bow hunts. Now we just deal with dogs and knife hunts. Deleted by Graybead. Unless you wish to become a paid advertiser on this site DO NOT again try to advertise here.
