T/C Encore Hardwoods HD Frame ???

Does anyone know what's underneath the Hardwoods finish on the Encore frames? I have a 24" turkey gun that I'm looking to buy for a good price. I'm just curious to see if it would be possible to strip the finish off the frame in the future. Wondering what I'll find under there. Blued, stainless?

I would bet it is blue. Before you strip it you might consider posting a trade for a plain  color frame. You may find someone interested and save some time and a possible mistake. Not sure how well the frame may be finished under camo.

that is a baked on coating i dont think you will like what you find under it........

I appreciate the responses guys. I said screw it and ordered a new Pro Hunter frame in stainless. Might as well get what you want first time around I guess. Thanks again.
