Well last weekend while up North at the cabin I was going to set up the wood dark house but had intestinal prob's that require I stay close to the out house.
I did at least get out to Lax Lake when I was leaving to check the ice house city and snapped this monster ice house going out. It can't be legal for highway travel, must be a very local guy.
This was last year out there. The snow load was so heavy already in December it constantly flooded the lake and the ice didn't freeze very good.
I will be doing some work on the "Otter" portable this weekend but sad to say I have not gotten out yet down here, just no safe ice.
