Deal OR No Deal?

My brother picked up a Series 80 Colt 1991A1 in 9mm today at a gunshow.  It was sold as previously owned, but "probably not fired".  Hardly even any handling marks on it.  Mirror like bore, overall I was impressed.  Got it for $550 out the door.  Deal or No Deal?  Seriously, I have no idea what the gun was worth.  Curious if my instincts in telling him it was a good deal, were right on, or way off?
