I've bought ammo from these guys before ,yhey are first rate.
But I never used there 45/70 load...but I handload a 405 gr. Rem. to 1800fps ,and always had great results.
It should be a great round.

I have tried their 338 Win Mag and 375 HH ammo and it is VERY accurate. Quality is top-notch and they are good folks.

I just received some of their new .308's yesterday and chronographed them from my Rem 700 within 6fps of advertised!
Great product, their 155gr. HPBY Match got me a .31" 5 shot group at 100yds!
Satisfied customer.

I have shot alot of there 10mm hot stuff for several years. It is great stuff and Mike McNett, the owner, is a great guy to deal with. He also has some hot, over 3000 ft.lbs, loads for the S&W 500 magnum. Double Tap is well worth checking out. There service is prompt and shipping is immeadiate. I think for the ammo you get, the prices are good. For any 10 mm fans, Mike now has 230 grain flat point cast bullets loaded up. There is your answer to being as heavy as 45 acp bullets. They are loaded to 640 ft.lbs and they thump stuff pretty good.
