IF you are talking about the .25 auto whose bullets are only .251 in diameter, they will be too small for use in the 25-06.
I have loaded the Hornady 75 grain bullets in the 25-06 for some screaming speeds. I even tried the 60 grain flat point thinking I could vaporize groundhogs! Those tiny bullets are NOT designed to hold together at 3600+ fps. Most did not even make it 100 yards to the target ! The 75's did a lot better getting as much as 3750- 3800 fps. Accuracy was better around 3600 to 3700 . The best all around bullets for deer and coyotes were the 100 grainers unless you WANTED the hides.

Thanks for the information.
For  "S&G's" I may try a round ball seated into the neck with a few grains of Bullseye or Unique. That works in 30 calibers for close range edible small game.

Actually, while you are totally correct that they are smaller and the light ones that are correct diameter will blow up (I had the same idea) if you'll run about 5g of Nitro 100 under a 35g GDHP it will swage up fairly well, or well enough to be squirrel head accurate at 25yds or so. The only problems I had were (a) yank the scope (stupid I didn’t think of it before hand) use the iron sights or throw a red-dot on it and (b) you need to either shoot them out of the tree, aim the rifle in the air before you drop to your belly and shoot them level (i.e. you cannot have the barrel lower than the chamber), or you'll need to pack the case with cornmeal or Dacron before you seat the bullet to keep the powder against the primer.
