Range Report 204 Ruger
« on: January 13, 2007, 11:39:53 AM »
Shot a five shot group of 1.25 inches with my 204 Handi. Supported near hinge pin.

The recipe:

32 gr. Vmax
30 gr. BL-C(2)
OAL 3.365 iches ( about .030 inches off the rifling)

The rifle has about fifty rounds thru it so far and no modifications have been made. I find that supporting under the hinge pin a bit unsteady so part of that 1.25 inches is me. The rifle I believe will be less than 1 MOA by the time the latch has shaken-down and I free float and pillar bed the fore-stock and maybe the action too.

Hey Mc, I am glad you got a good 204 report.  I know you will do better after you tinker with it.  That is good shooting.
