Hay every one! I have to admit mine is not a NEF\H&R, (its a savage), but from my experience it does shoot better after about 20 rounds or so. At first, I thought it was just barrel break in, as I bought it new. But after I have fired at least 1500 rounds though it, I have gotten to know my "Squirrel Slayer" pretty well. (Yes, I know this round is OVER-KILL for tree rats, but you don't waste any thing with head shots!). My advice is to keep it fouled, not filthy, unless you're putting it up for the season!
