Ultramax Ammo
« on: January 20, 2007, 07:40:52 PM »
Anyone tried any of this?

http://www.ultramaxammunition.com/rifle.php

I picked up a 50 box of 223 40GR Nosler Ballistic Tip from Sporsman's WH today for $22.99.

One more to try.  ;D ;D ;D

I have used the 40g bt,52g hp, and 55g sp and fmj from ultramax. All shoot MOA out of my gun. No problems at all here.

I've used the 40gr NBT, shot almost as good as the 45gr WWB, cost was $18.99 at Sportsmans when I bought mine almost 3yrs ago.

I use it for my Handi 500 to sight in. I got 3/4" at 50 yrds. I was using 325 gr. jhp. Haven't found it in heavier bullets yet. These light bullets are fun to shoot.

I just bought 250 rounds in 50gr balllistic tip for my .223 handi.  I had great luck with the fmj rounds while testing ammo and breaking in my barrel.  They are shooting real good groups for me.  I got 250 rounds from sportsmans guide for $95.  I know they are not a sponsor, but I am always looking for .223 ammo for my AR(This was my favorite toy before I got the handi)  and they are a really good source for bulk .223 ammo.  They do have a membership fee, but if you buy ammo like I do it is worth the 25 bucks. Plus you get free shipping and some coupons to use down the road on other orders  which will pay for the fee.
