Rossi stock Comb Height ?
« on: January 25, 2007, 11:00:46 AM »
I am going to purchase a Rossi set [243, 20 ga., 22lr] It looks like it has a low stock comb, is this going to be a problem when I scope the 243 ? I would like to know from someone who has one or has shot one. Any other good or bad comments about the rifle. It looks like the new youth version has a higher cheek piece.

I don't know about the Rossi's but I have several H&R Handi Rifles which I prefer and the low comb hieght on the combo's is reasonable since you can use a scope with a low comb hieght but you cannot use iron sights or a shotgun barrel with a bead front sight with a high comb Monte Carlo stock. You should have no problem, with the stocks. If you are asking for comments mine would be go with the American made H&R, better quality and great customer service....<><.... :)
