Target Model extractor
« on: January 21, 2007, 09:58:24 AM »
Got my new Target Moddel in .38-55.  I was surprised that the ejector had been changed to an extractor.  It was something I had planned to do forthe long range SASS shooting.  I wonder when they startrd doing this, and if they are doing it to other models.

H&R has been switching to extractors for over 2yrs now, the 204 Ruger was one of the first in Oct 2004, eventually, they'll all be extractors according to them, including rimfire and shotguns. The currrent production extractor is the 2nd generation, pics of both are in the FAQs, first generation had problems.
