What Savage stock fits the Stevens?

Thinking of getting a Stevens 200 in 270 and putting a wood stock fropm a Savage on it. What models fit? I assume a 110 long action?

Unless you just happen to have a stock on hand(or are getting it dirt cheap/free), you might as well shop around for a non accu-trigger 110.  From prices I've seen, you should be able to get one new for about $75 more than the stevens, and it will probably be alot cleaner fitting too...

I spoke with Boyds about this yesterday in case I decide on a new stock for my m200 and they said that it is the savage model 10 stock that fits.

If your savage/stevens is .270, it is a long action and will need a stock from a model 110!  the long action is easy, because there is only one action length.  Either the pre or post accutrigger will fit, accutrigger stock has a little extra room in the trigger area (under the wood and metal, not visible).  You should be able to pick up a 110 stock on ebay for about $40.  Also try savageshooters.com, in the classifieds, there are always folks that have extra wood and synthetic stocks.
