E. Loomis Antique black powder double barrel Riffle/Shotgun

Has anyone heard of a black powder gun that looks like a double barrel black powder percusion cap, but is really a black powder riffle ontop and shotgun on the bottom.  The only markings on the gun are E. Loomis.

 yes , they came in over and under as well as side by side

Thanks captchee.  Would you happen to know where I could find more information about this riffle?  It is in pretty good shape, and it has some very nice decorations in the stock.  My grandpa gave it to me and he got it from and antique shop who knows how many years ago.
