does anyone know where I can get a wood stock for a 700 classic

it's a long action.  I got a great deal on a new 700 classic in 8mm. The only thing with the gun is the stock is beat up on it.

Watch eBay.  I see Classic stocks there from time to time.  Also currently there is a guy that is selling CDL stocks (factory seconds, I believe).

But, the classic stocks come up from time to time.  Just have to watch and be patient.

Numrich Gun Parts, EBAY (my choice  ;)) Boyds will have stocks to fit, but not like the factory one.  You can order them direct from Remington, but you WILL pay a premium price for them, probably $250 or more.
