Chris, if that's who responded, I'm glad to see the SS variable will be out, a lot less than a year I hope. A 4.5x-20 tactical is exactly what I am looking for. One thing that bothers me is that first focal plane, where the crosshairs get bigger with power changes. I'm not sure if that would affect shooting long range at small targets. I was looking at the Leupold Long Range target. It has everything I want except I don't like turrent caps and it's too expensive.
I have yet to get a good look through a SS. It's funny how some forums have lots of things to say about them and others, nothing at all.
