So are MKIIs. You just have to be a real man!
I may be a little bit more machically inclined than the average shooter but I don't think there is anything that I can do that you can't if you look at it a little while.
I looked at the re-assembly instructions once, when I couldn't get my MKII back together. Since then I just take it apart and when I put it back together I just make sure there is some tension on the lever on the grip when I put it back. If there isn't, I open it up again and look at the little hangy down thing on the hammer and make sure it is in the right place and try again. If there is no tension I put it in the other place and it works. As my dear old dad would say, "Simple as falling off a log!"
Now I have nothing against Brownings, other than the fact that I have never owned one cause I could always get something a little better for the same price or they were just too overpriced or just a poor design. They would usually make a good second choice and that is just what they are in my oponion, espically when it comes to semi-auto rimfire pistols. Now remember that this is only my opinion, which I am entitled too, same as you are entitled to yours. I have never owned one but have shot lots of Buckmarks and liked the MKIIs better. And like you said, real men dis-assemble and re-assemble MKIIs all the time.
Don't get yer back hair up, I was just having some fun at yur expense.
