Are Winchester 94 30/30's still being made?!?

I thought I'd read that Winchester was no longer making their 30/30 but every time I get on gunbroker.com I always see them.  I would like to get my hands on one some day, but don't know if I'd be better off just going to a gun show and finding an old beat up one if possible.

The Model 94 is for now not in production.  When US Repeating Arms closed up last year production of the Model 94 ended.  We keep hearing rumors that another company will be starting up making them, but to date no one has to the best of my knowledge.

You will see them available on the gun sites for quite some time I think.  Over the years a large number of them were made, and many will be bought and sold for some time.  If you want one new in the box they are out there for a premium price.  Some see this as an investment opportunity since they are not being made any longer.  I suspect the number of guns out there will keep the price down.  Right after the closing was announced prices spiked, but on Sunday at the gun show I saw a number of nice model 94s ranging from around $300.00 to $700.00.  Many of these were pre 1964 production, considered the better made guns.

Not at this time..Start looking in local pawn shops, the ones around here always have them. I have 2 model 94's a Trapper and a AE standard Rifle. I really like them.

Winchester made so many of them that they will be around darn near forever. However, they are heading up in price.
