Tasco closeout - deal or not?
« on: February 17, 2007, 10:47:42 PM »
I need a scope for a 22-250 Handi Rifle. Unfortunately, money is a bit tight right now, so I have to keep the cost down or wait. Midway has a 8x30x44 Tasco Target scope at a closeout price of $129. Reviews on the Midway website were pretty good saying that high magnifications were still bright and in focus. The only complaint was that the target adjustment knobs seem to want to fall off. If anyone has had experiance with Tasco scopes, I would like to hear your comments. I have heard the name for years, but have not used one since I was a kid (long time ago). I chose the 30x because my old eyes need all the help they can get and I'd like to shoot this rifle out to about 300 yards.

hello

I have only one tasco that I use it is a 6x24x42 and works good for a scope that is under $100. I can see 6mm holes out to 300 yards on 24 power. This is on a white backing
I use this scope out to 500 yards and works very well.
I only had one problem with it after about 500 rounds adjustment knob fell off.
this was a fast fix justed need to tighten the screws up
