At closer inspection of the GP100, I noticed that it had a hammer, but no hammer spur and the rear sight was fixed not adjustable. Also the shroud wasn't all the way down the barrel.
I asked JR about it and he told me that Ruger had made some GP 100s for a foreign gov't. I guess I'll wait and get one either new or used but like it's supposed to be. I had money in hand ready to buy it, but I want adjustable rear sights! So, no GP 100 for me at this time!
