500 S&W will be ordered this week

I sold off one of my hobbies that I wasn't using anymore so I get to order the 500 S&W this week along with a 357 pistol for conceal and carry. I just thought I would share this with my fellow. Handi friends. Charlie

Yes ... I do follow the Colts. We watched the game tonight and enjoyed most of it except for the opening kickoff. Rex Grossman of the Bears is from Bloomington, IN (home of Indiana University) which is about 65 miles from me. It's been a good couple of seasons including the Cardinals winning the World Series. Scott Rolen (St Louis 3rd baseman) is from the town I am currently living in. I saw him play all through high school and if I remember correctly, he scored 51 points in his final high school basketball game hitting 12 3-pointers but they lost the game.

I have all Ruger and S&W revolvers except my conceal/carry which is a Rossi.

Jeepman I am glad you mentioned the Rossi I have been looking at one that Academy Sports sells for $268 +tax. It is a small fram 5 shot. Is that the model you have?

I took the class to carry originally about 5 or 6 years ago not too long after Oklahoma passed the law. It is fairly loose if I remember correctly (I will have to take it again which I will do within the next few weeks). I just remember at the time I took it you could carry either a semi auto or revolver but if you took the shooting test with a revolver you could only carry a revolver but if you took the test with a semi auto you could carry either. You could only shoot in defense of your self, your wife or child (I don't remeber if other immediate family were covered or not), your boss or an employee that you supervised. You had to inform law inforcement at traffic stops, etc that you were carrying. Then you had the list of "cannot carry places" where you can't take your weapon. Take care, Charlie

My Rossi is a M711 6 shot .357 that I bought several years ago. It had be tuned by a smith and in like new condition. My favorite caliber is .45 colt but a CCW in this caliber is just too large for me to carry. I do not "carry" per say on a daily basis.
