It's fixed...I hate having to go in and add the syntax codes by hand...but looks like I'm going to have to with this browser..

I voted yes.
I'm gonna get one but I'm gonna get a new bolt gun first.........just can't make myself not at this point. I'll be putting one of the Optimas on lay-away at the same time at the Academy Sports in my area. Good thing about Academy that they still have a lay-away plan, unlike the new and trendy Wal-Mart corporation.

Anyway, nomosedero, you should have an Academy close to your area as well. Give 'em a look-see there my friend.

The more I learn about them the more curious I get. I wrote them off too quickly, and I believe there is a lot of potential if they can just get the word out and build up their customer base for their centerfires.
Picking up the shortcomings of the Handi, and for less $$ then an TC. Plus their barrels seem to be of excellent quality from all I am hearing.

Well...because CVA and Traditions aren't really the same lines...and both have different products under them

GAve you a yes. Had to I think its only fair that non-T/C enjoyers have a forum where we can come in and randomly bash your choice. Don't try that in any Nef forum they are a little touchy. Just hope you can handle the truth better than nef fans can.

There won't be any bashing going on if I have anything to say about it..disagreeing...yes..discussing... most certainly...honest comparisons..without a doubt...CVA makes a-lot of different guns..and everyone will be welcome...From what I've been reading on different forums lately...there seems to be a-lot of needless bashing going on..from many different folks..This isn't what getting this forum is for....It's for those who have..or for those interested in having one of these rifles.It's for them to have a place where they can get to gather and discuss them with out all that...To be able to get help if they need it and get questions answered by those who wish to share their knowledge...It will be just like any other forum..and the rules of GBO will be enforced...

Oddly enough most that have expressed intest in this are NEF/H&R fans too

Good luck, go to the T/C forums and see how many people come to bash T/C, it happens in every forum. People can state negative comments as long as they stay within the rules.
But good luck and I hope it works out for you. I personally am not interested in any CVA produces, but there are those that are. I won't bash them, I just won't buy them either.

I view bashing & facts as being separate entities because in most cases they are. I ignore opinions unless they are based on objective facts & or experience.

I am intested in the Optima Elite rifle line. I hope we can learn the real scoop on these products.

Relax Mac it was a joke. Sorry to "stir the pot" as it was put. As I said I did give it a yes.. Alothough we do have to spend alot of time defending the T/C products from constant bashing on the "t/C" forums. usually from NEF guys to. Warning when you get it up and running I will post the major problems I have had with CVA. Design flaws that could have killed someone.
