Savage 24F?

So can anyone give me some information on the Savage 24F? First what rifle/shotgun combinations does it come in? And also my father in law has one in .22/.410 and it has a cracked stock. I would like to get an unfinished stock for him to replace the one he has but where can I get one?

i have a 15 year old model 24F in .22 Hornet and 20 gauge.  The one newer than mine has a saddle type scope mount.

You may be able to get a stock from Gun Parts Corp., West Hurley, NY.
