Ruger Speed Six grips Square Butt
« on: January 15, 2007, 11:36:40 AM »
I am looking for a set of grips for an older Ruger Speed Six with square butt.  The serial number starts with 150-.   Thanks for any help.

20 plus years ago, I found a pair of rubber (I think) square butt wrap around grips that fit my hand nice.  I laid my speed six on each panel, marked it and carved it to fit with a razor blade knife.  Looks good and feels good.  The speed six with the original grips is not a pleasure to shoot with full power .357 loads.  The bigger grips helped tame the felt recoil a lot.

          Hi,
I have about 30 sets of grips for the 150 series double action revolvers. These were made by Mustang years ago. They are large target style grips , most with finger grooves, and there are 2 or 3 kinds of wood. they are in the original plastic boxes. If you are interested, I sell them for 50.00/set shipped. Call me at 734 216 9903 so we can talk.
