The infamous Optima Elite .243 with black fibergrip stocks, quake's "claw" sling, blued barrel. This one resides in SE Oklahoma at a ditchdigger's house.  ;D

Ya know at first I was a little skeptical about the looks by going from the websites pics. But after seeing it now scoped out, I love it.  Even the stock.
Is yours the compact 243?
I also have the same scope by the way, and for the money it's a good value.

It does indeed look better with the scope, but I still like the thumbhole version better, just can't get past that stock style. :-\

I thought the rings were the Warne...when I had them set them the rifle back...but I was mistaken I think.....These are those silly ole Burris rings  :-[

I got to wait till the kids go to bed before I can post some pics of theirs...you all will be able to see the difference between the compact stocks and the regular stock...I managed to get all three of them this afternoon... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'd probably like em more if I can handle one, but that ain't gonna happen for a while. :'( At least puttin money into a Handi has it's rewards in their appearance for me, and I do like the feel and look of the Encore with the PH thumbhole, maybe when they eventually get the Optima Elites available here, they'll also be available with the lam stock and maybe even a caliber I actually want!! ;D

Stimpy,I'm not sure about the lenght of pull (it feels a little shorter than the NEF's) but it mounts quick and you can use the ironsights or the Scope very easy. Its very comfortable to shoot and handle's the recoil of the 243 very easily. You'll have to look at one youself to tell if it'll fit you. Mine is the full sized rifle.  Digger

The laminates won't be ready for a little while according to Mark at CVA...They have a little more finishing to do on it yet...and won't release it till it is just right..
