Scope Mount Dummy Screws, anyone got any......

When I found my Marlin Glenfield 30A I could tell the previous owner had a scope on it, and these screws were missing.  Well because of my eyes etc, I put a rail I have on my Marlin.... and an old Tasco 3x9 scope.  But to me the scope just don't look right on the lever gun.... kinda like putting a modern scope on a Buffalo Classic or worse yet a C Sharps or Rolling Block rifle.



I just like the clean lines of the lever action rifle without a scope on it.  So tonight I took the scope off and I thought I might have some of these little dummy screws in my parts box, well I discovered I don't.  So I would like to know does anyone have any of these scope mount dummy screws that they figure they won't ever use again.

Montanian, I believe there called filler screws. If you don't have any luck here, most any gunshop should have them or a call to Marlin should get you some.  Where I live we don't have any gunshops close. Don't know how remote you are located. So I usually just call. A quick search on the net would probably get you a 800# for Marlin. Regards, Byron

Called Marlin this morning and the screws are $1.40 ea with a $3.00 shipping charge on the order.

Just went down to our local Sporting Goods store called Snappies Sports Senter here in Kalispell, Mt.  I took the Marlin Glenfield in and the guy had only 3 of these screws left.  He put em in and then handed me back my Marlin Glenfield.  I asked him, "How much?" his reply with a smile was "No Charge".

I did eye a few Marlins and Winchesters while in there.....
