dan wesson 360 load
« on: April 29, 2003, 03:38:28 PM »
Anyone Know a safe starting load for the dan wesson 360 cal. 10" special silhouette barrel. I can find no loads heavier than 180 gr.. i have a good supply of 200 grain lead head, and speer 200 gr fmc silh. bullets. I am going to use H-110, and Vita vori n-110 powders, Just need  a starting load that would be safe for the 200 yard rams? Thanks in advance.vstrom

:D  i shoot an eight inch 7360 with sierra 180 grain with 17.5 grains h-110.velocity is 1350fps and it is very accurate. i would try the same loads with the 200 grainers with h-110. i don't know much about the vv powder. never used it but i hear it is excellent.wheelgun7360

I used 200 cast in a D/W, Seville,& T/C in 357 MAX, the load was 17.5 gn  SR 4759, 100% loading density. It's a pain to measure but works very well with cast bullets.

Load Data

Hello,
The Dan Wesson website lists handloading data for the 360 as well as their other calibers. Go to www.danwessonfirearms.com then click on "Ammo and Brass", then on "360".

I believe the data they give was for a 10" barrel.

Shoot Safe!
