Handi-toxication

I made a mistake. I went to the LGS.  They have lots of Handi's. More than I remembered.  I actually went looking for a .17HMR Sportster. They didn't have one of those on the shelf.

They do have the following: .17HM2, 45-70(syn),45-70 BC, 500S&W, .35 Whelen, and a whole bunch of others.  On the used rack, they had a Model 158 (AL) 12ga. I say "had" for a reason .

And the .17HMR? Well they "had" two in the back.  Unfortunately, my math skills don't seem to work while under the influence, as $169 didn't seem like too bad of a deal, since I couldn't find it elsewhere (WM price is $139, but SS shows none in stock).  Now that I am out of the store, I remember that used .22mag for $100 in the other big local shop, and another $100 for the barrel program, so for an extra $30, I could have both.   

It's a sickness, isn't it. These are cool.

I say go back and snatch that Whelen up. They are getting hard to find, and the factory stopped making the new production

I jus did kinda the same thing. Whent to sportsmans looking for a hornet and left with a HMR.  I need to stop going in there.

dadgumitt!!! all you fellars getting them hmr's and mach2's. i want both of those sportster's so bad!!!!!!! i think i am getting the shakes, and seeing things that ain't there!!!! maybe in a couple weeks i can score a mach2!!!must be drying out from my  handiholicinism. i hope and pray for all members here to have many good things in there lives!!! have fun shooting and take care.
