Shortstake
Thanks, I guess I should have been a bit clearer in my question. Have the Dixie High Wall replicas (in 45-70) been tested with any modern smokeless loads? I ask because I was originally thinking Sharps, and while the rifle will be mostly BPCR usage, the use of smokeless is not ruled out, for me. The Sharps has been tested to modern Marlin load levels (or more, closer to Ruger #1 from what I've read) in the 45-70, just wondering if the Dixie High Wall had received any such testing, in smokeless calibers of course.
