Small Game Hunting In Sam Houston National Forest

Does anybody hunt small game such as rabbit or squirrel in the Sam Houston National Forest?  Robert

 :) Howdy! You will be more successful if you talk to the wildlife biologist about where to find and hunt rabbit, squirrels, etc. Otherwise, you will be covering a lot of territory without much luck.  Hope this helps!

A hunting buddie of mine told me about finding some food plots way down a logging road in the Sam Houston forrest.Bet you could find rabbits and such around them.Maybe contact forrest service or someone to give locations of the food plots.
