sight screw holes
« on: February 23, 2007, 03:49:19 AM »
Hello. Looking for some help. I have mounted a scope and removed the iron sights and want to plug the screw holes. I think I read somewhere to melt wax into the holes this would seal them and could be removed with a heat gun if needed. What do you guys recomend. Thanks Clem.

I usually go to my local gun store and get some of the screws he has removed from guns when insalling scopes.  He normally has a bunch of them and since I am helping to send his kids to college with my purchases he gives me what I need.

I would put screws in also. Midway and Brownells has them if your local gunshop does not
