7mm BR on 444 brass ?

Has anyone tried to make a rimmed 7mm BR with 444 brass ?

Yes. Well, 7/08 anyway.  Called the series "tirad." Suppose you could web search for the shop. And shortening to BR lenght would be doable. luck.
