Flextech Forearms and Standard Encore Barrels?
« on: February 21, 2007, 04:26:48 AM »
Thinking of purchasing a Pro Hunter frame with the Flextech Stock and forearm.

Will the Flextech forearm fit all three barrel types?  Standard, Heavy Barrel, and Pro Hunter?

I have a few heavy hitters in the standard barrel contour and hope it will work.

Anyone know for sure?

I used the flex tech on three.

A related question I have is - are the flextech forearms any longer than the standard forearms?  My PH .243 barrel looks unproportioned to the standard forend on my encore lengthwise.

Just went and measured!

My ProHunter forearm (synthetic) is 11 3/4 inches.
My 209X50 ML forearm (synthetic) is 11 3/4 inches.
My heavy barrel forearm (wood) is 13 inches.

Hope this helps you out!
