What is the maximum bullet weight for top Trapdoor loads that can be loaded assuming that the crimping is done in the cannelure.

Probably the 600 grain Barnes Original. Some Springfield Trapdoors had pretty deep throats. Otherwise, the Jae Bok Young Crater at 550 grains could be loaded to Trapdoor levels and crimped for a 2.55" COL.
