S.A.'s Full Sized M.C. Operator
« on: May 16, 2007, 06:04:42 PM »
I have been considering an up-grade from my S.A. 1911A1 Mil-Spec. to the M.C. Operator. But here in Arizona there seems to be a shortage with the various distributors. I am wondering a couple of things about this firearm: (1) Does anyone have first hand experience with this gun? And (2) what price range would be reasonable for such a weapon? ..... Petepaaz

and (3) are there shortages elsewhere?

apparently this topic hasn't caught on much; so I'll expand it a little bit: does anyone have much experience with S.A.'s Loaded Combat Style 1911's. I was in a gunshop recently and saw a Loaded Black-Stainless Combat; which had Brazillian markings on it. It looked intriguing, but other than the stainless steel& better sights, may not be much better than my GI/Mil-Spec. Also, am not sure I want a 1911 that is mostly made in Brazil. I still prefer to buy American whenever it works best.
