any affordable ( $700.00 and under ) lever actions being made by anybody anymore ??
that 11-pointer was too perty to let you have it - ( dale earnhardt )

You might find a Marlin 1894CL made in the early mid 90's for around that, or less.  Don't know of any current makers, though.

There were rumors  that Marlin would re-introduce the 1894CL in .25-20, but all that's currently cataloged is the .32-20.   I bought mine in the early 90s and it has been a great shooter for me.  i used it extensively for small game hunting in Alaska, and the 75-grain Speer flat points killed small game very well with little meat damage.  Didn't need 2000+ fps velocity either....1700 fps worked fine and was plenty flat shooting.  I scoped it for accuracy testing, but it wears a Williams peep in the field.
