Quick is there a way to jump to say page 100 faster than going to page 3, then 6, then 9.......?

Not that I'm aware of, but it sure would be nice.  :'( If you know who posted in a thread you want to find, you can go their profile and choose "show the last posts of this person"  near the bottom of the page, you'll get all of their posts which are considerably less pages to look thru for most members.

Thanks.  I did not think so but it would be really nice.  I was reading all the old post alittle each night.  I'm up to page 105 and it takes too long to get back to where you left of the night before so I'm just saving to fav. then starting back the next night.

Try this.

The following link ought to take you to page 100:

http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/smf/index.php?board=126.2970

The key is to substitute for "2970" whatever page you are looking for in this manner:  page 1 is 0, page 2 is 30 and so on, so (page# - 1) x 30 = the number you plug in.

HTH.

Don

[edit] That is for the H&R Centerfire forum. For others you need to change the "126" to whichever board you are looking for. [/edit]
