336 and 1895 action

 I have read that the 336 is the same action as the 1895...If that is true, can a 1895 barrel be installed on a 336 action?

1895 MARLIN's not Winchester's 1895...... Sorry, brain cramp.
I ran the keyboard faster than my brain. Good question.. bolts will be a concern too.

The antique 1895 action is very different from  336, and somewhat weaker to boot.

The modern 1895 is only slightly different, like the ejection port size/shape, ejector config, extractor and bolt/bolt face sizes, and the magazine tube opening (larger).   ::)

In addition, the mag tube is bulged opposite the loading gate, to help clear bullet noses during the admittance of rounds into the mag.
