And the other new toy:

http://image1ex.villagephotos.com/pubimage.asp?id_=2212436" width=400 height=300>

which is a .50 Caliber blackpowder home-build by somebody.  Wheels appear to be from industrial cart with soft rubberish outside and cast iron with ball bearings.  Single trail will be replaced with split trails and smallish touch hole will be drilled and tapped for percussion cap.

I may even ream it out to bigger bore diameter - 20 or 12 gauge-ish.

Reaming one out to fit 12 ga. slugs would be cool. Moulds are readily (any cheaply!) available from Lee.

Yea.  I've considered both 12 and 20 ga. as I have moulds for both.  20ga is .625 bore diameter which is a standard size for reamers.

DD -
Good point.  I'll be posting pictures soon, as I'm getting ready to finish a run of about 10 each of the GB and Can caliber mortars; and I do have the Frontpage software.

Things move slowly, I've finally hooked up the milling machine that I bought a year and a half ago and am working on the lathes now.  I'm considing doing a CNC retrofit to the mill.  Since I work at a plant that makes DC brushless motors (heavy into the controls of speed and power) I'm thinking of building a CNC control for grinding end mills and cherries for making bullet moulds too.
