Just cock the striker a ruen the safety flag to the verticle. The bolt can still be removed and the striker will remain caught by the safety.. With the safe in this position the striker assembly can be simply unscrewed from the bolt body..

Middle position - as gunnut69 indicated vertical - safety flag pointing straight up.

Ssorry I was a bit vague. IF the rifle hasn't been altered from the military configuration the safety is a 3 positions affair that will allow the bolt to remain cocked and still fremove the bolt from the receiver when it's pointed straight up. If moved fully to the left the striker and the bolt are both locked. Some 2 position low scope safties lock the bolt when on, period. They require the bolt be removed from the receiver. Then the cocking piece of the bottom of the bolt is hooked over something, I use a piece of steel clamped in the benchvise and the striker retracted until the safety can be applied. The striker assembly can then be safely unscrewed.

Phoneman,

Have you tried www.surplusrifle.com?  That site has lots of info, including disassembly instructions, for many different types of vintage military firearms.  I didn't see the model rifle you mention, but maybe there's one of similar design that would be close enough.
