value of sako barreled action?
« on: May 12, 2007, 04:51:30 AM »
I recently took a "bunch of junk" in trade. Among the stuff was a Sako Forester .243 barreled receiver with complete bolt only, no other parts. It was all rusty with very little finish remaining but the bore looked like new. I have no use for it and was wondering what it might be worth, any opinions as to value would be appreciated since I really don't know where to start. It would need a lot of work to restore it and a lot of parts as well.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.
