I've heard from some folks considering two designs that have not yet been posted.
In addition there is one piece of 1-1/4" stainless here that is just
begging
to become a handgonne!

Here are a couple of musings from a year or so ago.
This is from 1-1/4" stainless and is in 20ga (0.625" bore diameter). Hand held until I get around to putting on a tiller.
This is in 10ga (about .77 caliber) with a 12ga pumkin ball next to it.

Here is a design that could be used for the handgonne sized piece:
Click the image for a dimensioned drawing. You could even make it a little fatter around the chamber and stay within the material.

drawn with P&P ver. 2.75
Tim what do you have in the way of weldable 1.25 diameter by 2.25 inch long and .5 x 2 inch. They gotta be weldable to each other

If you look at the base of the little mortar a few posts prior - they are silver soldered together.
