Old woodburner--Glad you're coming!   The Misses and I are gonna be there.  We're in the middle of loading ammo and wouldn't miss this match.  If we could only make one match a year, this would be it.  Shoot straight, rdnck.

Howdy, Montanan!!  Which riflegun yew gonna shoot and are yew gonna duplex?

Marsh

Marsh I will be using the 45-90 Sharps and yes, I will be duplexing.  I went out with my son today after waiting all week since my excitement with the horse in the horse trailer on Monday.  A friend and I were transporting 4 horses on two seperate trips.  On the second trip I took a morab mare into the trailer and began getting her tied off, the rear door got closed before she was tied, and she freaked out.  Got her head under me and up into the roof I went and just really got thrashed around a good bit and knocked around.  My right arm from the shoulder down is a massive bruse, as well as other areas of my body

I could only handle 10 rounds today and had to put the Sharps down, and let my son take over from there - cleaning and putting things away.  I'm sure things will heal by the time the Quigley is here.

Going to Quigley

Marsh--You gotta do Quigley.  No two ways about it.  You still have time to load 250 rounds of ammo, and you can camp for free on the range, if need be.  Entry fee is only 15 bucks, and me and the misses will feed you if you get hungry.  If the ball and chain won't let you come alone, bring her.  If she won't let you come, send her to the Bahamas or Tahiti (tried to spell Hiwaii and couldn't) and come anyway.

Seriously, you and me and the rest of us ain't getting any younger, and this is one of those events that will make memories that you will carry for the rest of your life.  Get to loadig ammo, and come on!  Shoot straight, rdnck.

After last year, my first time at the Q, I wouldn't miss it.  Had a lot of fun and met some great people.  I am going to be doing a lot of driving though because I am also going to the Wyoming Territorial shoot next week!!  I am loading brass now, and am going to have to do it all over again when I get back to WA from WY.  Its a good thing I enjoy doing it.

Is anyone else attending both matches?  I plan to be at Forsyth on Weds.  At my age I need all the practice I can get.  See all of you there! :D  Omaha

:D Planning on it.  It'll be my first trip there and probably my second "official" shoot.
