I load for the 204 but in a Handi. I have been using Benchmark, 32gr Sierra gamekings and Remington primers. They shoot very well indeed. The biggest thing with the Handi is the bullet seating length, that has been the key to accuracy with this rifle. It wouldn't shoot factory ammo well at all. It shot reloads the same at standard length, I know use OAL of 2.27" and it's awesome. I travel a lot for work, when I get home in 6 weeks time, I'm gonna try Varget as I know people who have had good results with that too.

I reload the 32 Gr V-Max bullet with Varget powder and get 1/2 inch groups out of a Ruger 77 Target Varmint rifle. There is a lot reloading data at http://www.rugerhunting.com  .Try the forum and reloading data.

Ant powder that will work well in the .222 family of cartridges will work in the .204 also. I bought 48 lbs. of that 2230-c that Natchez was selling cheap and am shooting 1/2 moa or alittle better with 32. gr Serrias in my CZ.
