Ten year old bear hunter.

In the latest issue of Bear Hunting magazine there's a article about a ten year old girl who shot and killed the largest bear taken in 2006 using a 375 H&H!!  It really impressed the snot out of me.  This kid lives in Alaska and has taken a whole passel of big game trophies.

BTW - she is only 9 yrs old and her name is Fern Rivers  but yes her shot on that bear was 30 yards using a .270-gr Barnes Tripple Shock bullet.  She is a very lucky girl to have a dad like Larry Rivers, who is also Outfitter and Guide.

When she gets old enough to start dating, what guy is going to have the huevos to date a girl who has shot a record book grizzely????!!!! :D
