The bolt action .22 Model 702
« on: March 08, 2007, 07:55:33 AM »
Well, I thought that this would be the first new post in the forum, that's what I get for typing before looking in the forum (I was reading replies to my posts).   :-\  Has anyone shot the Plinkster Bolt action yet?  I looked at it, seemed ok for a basic gun, I did like the $110 tag on it at the local sporting goods store.

I have not seen the bolt action, but I've shot the semi-auto. My younger cousin bought one to carry on his short trap line. He needed something for under $100 and it fits the bill rather nice and shoots pretty good ;)

After looking at the website, I'm wondering if maybe it's only at certain stores??  I saw it at Dick's Sporting Goods, but I didn't see it on Mossbergs website.  Of course, since I'm working about 60 hrs a week and sleeping 4 hours a night, it's very possible that I just overlooked it on the website.  I've read a couple of good reviews on the semi-auto too.
