A nice touch from CS

Sent in three receivers a while back, two for trigger jobs and one for a barrel. Got the two back that had the trigger pull reductions done a few days ago. They each came in their own little box, specially made to fit just the receivers. They are the old white cardboard like the older guns used to come in and they're marked "NEF - American Made". Nice Touch! In the past I would just receive them back in a plain cardboard box individually wrapped, which they were this time also. The addition of the special made boxes added a professional appearance and feeling to the whole transaction though.
I am eagerly awaiting a .280 barrel for the other receiver. I'm anxious to see if the bore will be off-center like another member's here was however. If it is, then I'll be really disappointed.
Hopefully the little box addition shows that the quality of the work done in Gardner, Mass. may be getting stepped up a notch.

How much do they charge for the trigger job?  I did not see it mentioned on their website while I was browsing.  Does it add any time to the wait if you are also buying an additional barrel?

Thanks

Trigger jobs can be extra if over 4-5lbs. to start out with...but if it's higher..then they normally don't charge for doing it...

Good Luck John...I hope it isn't a disappointment for you and it turns out as good as mine did...and not like your 25-06 ::)

It sounds like they finely got some good people in the shipping department...bout time..
