Canada Bear outfitter?
« on: March 14, 2007, 04:17:42 AM »
I am looking at doing an all inclusive archery spring bear hunt. Can anyone recommend a good outfitter in the Alberta or Saskatchewan provinces?? Thanks

Ontario is some great bear country.  Unfortunately they don't have a spring hunt there  :'(  .  It's a good place to go in the fall though  ;D  Blessings, Rev

My best hunt in Manitoba was with John Procyshyn at South Shore Lodge in Winnipegosis.  www.southshorelodge.net
John is a good fellow and really knows his bears.  He will treat you right.  I got a real bruiser hunting with him last spring.  This blackie was 6 ft 8 inches from nose to tail and weighed 480 lbs spring weight.    http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i212/doctorbuck/BillsBear04.jpg   I had to cancel for this year so John might have an opening.  Good luck and let us know how you do.  Blessings, Rev

P.S. feel free to contact me if you have any questions about John's operation, the country, the fishing,  etc.
