243 Superlight
« on: March 09, 2007, 03:48:14 PM »
Well I ordered a 243 Superlight today from Wal-Mart. I have been looking for a 243 for the past few weeks so that my wife would have rifle to use and two of my kids are getting about shooting age so they will need one to. I was about sold on getting the CVA Optima Elite Compact. I went to the local gun shop yesterday and was just looking and they had the superlight but they wanted a little to much. I took the wife there on let her handle it on it fit her perfect she is really small frame woman. They would not move on the price. So I checked with Wal-Mart on they had one in stock so I told them to send it to me.I am excited about this I have been wanting to try the superlight out. I think I am going to try the 95gr. Fusions out to start with and go from there. I can't wait to get it here.Anybody that has a superlightwhat are you using for scopes I was thinking about some sort of compact scope.

P.S. Tim this will make number three I might catch up with you. ;D ;D ;D

As far as scopes mine started with a Bushnell 3x9 and now wears a Tasco 6x24x40 . the Tasco is just about as long as the barrel and for what i am doing with it , thats ok. if i were going to carry it a bunch then the 3x9 would go back on .
